However far the camera pans, the script stays right in front of the lens — the teleprompter turns in sync with the PTZ head, instead of hiding behind a fixed hood.
Turns in sync with the PTZ camera through a 310° pan.
Runs almost silently, keeping motor noise off the recording.
Works with mainstream PTZ cameras, such as Sony and Panasonic.
Plugs into networked, automated studios, from script delivery to rundown control.
PROMPTERGO's PTZ prompter is built around a patented servo head that rotates in sync with the camera, in real time. Through large, fast pans of about 310°, the script stays centred on the lens — never sliding off as the camera moves.
A precision-built ultra-quiet servo drive motor runs almost silently, and a carefully designed structure keeps mechanical noise off the recording. Even on a quiet set or during a live take, the prompter stays unheard.
Support for VISCA, NDI and more than 60 protocols lets the system work with mainstream film-and-television-quality PTZ cameras, including Sony and Panasonic models.
With the optional IP system, this prompter runs as its own networked host: scripts and control commands arrive over IP as data, not video, so the picture is drawn right at the prompter and there is no video stream to lose. MOS support keeps every position in sync with the newsroom rundown, and if the network drops, playback continues from the prompter itself.
